Today we’re launching our curated event series called IRL! Part filmmaker meetup, part exclusive film screening, IRL is our “in real life” version of what Short of the Week has done online for years—offer a space to see the freshest short films and plug into the filmmaking community.

As a team that attends hundreds of film screenings every year, IRL is the event we always wanted. It’s an evening of new experiences centered around innovative storytelling—a co-mingling of great, talented people & ground-breaking short films. Catch the premieres of a curated selection of new short films before they blow up online. It’s the festival screening and after-party smashed into one tight event.

Oh, and it’s free.

When: February 7th, 2019 at 7pm

Where: Kickstarter HQ in Brooklyn, NY

How: Right here 👇

IRL is a quarterly event series. Our first event is in NYC, but we hope to bring it to other cities over the coming year. If you want to attend a future event, let us know where you are!
