Even with our carefully considered curation here at Short of the Week serving up the best of short film on an almost daily platter, keeping up with the glut of short films released online can be a near impossible task. Aiming to make this ever-expanding output even easier to digest, this post marks the launch of a new regular playlist here on Short of the Week – the end of the month compilation.

Last month in May we brought a total of 23 films to your screens, our favourites included an inventive gender twist to the action genre, a hilarious animation featuring surreal vignettes of man’s best friend and a pink-hued love letter to 80’s action films.
