Seems like love was in the air throughout April, as the trio of films we picked for our ‘Best of the Month’ selection all centre around themes of affection, with three very different perspectives. Whether it’s one-man’s love for his craft, two newly-weds proving love conquers all or a story of how unrequited love removes the sheen of a nail bar employee’s tough exterior, these are narratives driven by passion, but ultimately stories about bonds and dedication.
