Andrew W. Jones is a pretty unique filmmaker, the kind we like to highlight here on SotW. Frank Dancoolo: Paranormal Drug Dealer was one our Top Ten short films of 2010, and is about as ludicrously fun as the name sounds. Jones makes films on a lo-budget that don’t compromise his wacked out vision, and his latest short film seems like a doozy in that regard.

Peerless science student Walter Gilman meets his match in Eve Walpurgis and promptly falls in love. But when Eve is taken by an extra-dimensional terror, Walter is forced to summon a demon of his own: the anachronistic DOCTOR GLAMOUR!

Together they embark on a rock-and-roll journey through the realm of dreams, filled with action, adventure and some unexpected romance!

To make Doctor Glamour, Jones and his team embarked on a Kickstarter campaign to raise $4500, and fortunately in the last couple of days they have reached that figure.  However things happen, stuff can run over,  so if you enjoyed Dancoolo, think about supporting this project—you’ve got 16 hours left!

P.S. Are you a filmmaker we’ve featured before on SotW who is crowdfunding a new short film? Drop us a line info@shortoftheweek.com
