The second annual GLAS Animation Festival lights up on March 2-5, 2017 in Berkeley, CA. We feel a kindred connection to GLAS not only because festival director, Jeanette Bonds, is a contributor here at S/W, but because it is the only US festival dedicated to pulling together the most daring indie animators from around the world.
In addition to a collection of unseen animated shorts, this year GLAS is offering the chance to see special talks with greats from the animation world like Brad Bird, Masaaki Yuasa, Lei Lei, Amy Lockhart, Mathieu Labaye, Chris Robinson, Ana Ramirez, Madeline Sharafian, and Peter Burr. See the full schedule.
If this is scratching you where you itch, pick up a pass and head on over to Berkeley, California (just a quick ride away from San Francisco) March 2-5 to catch the festival and hang with like-minded animation nerds.
