We are on the hunt for ______ writers to join Short of the Week in contributing _______ reviews and articles on short film (ex: Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore), the film industry (ex: Has Hollywood Lost it’s Way?), and _______. If you have something to say and are looking for a large ______ audience, this is your chance.
We’re looking for two traits:
If you’re worried about not being able to find quality short films on your own, fret not. We have people and resources that do just that. In fact, we always have more material to write about than we have time to write it.
The position comes with a few perks: advanced film screenings, invitations to industry events, participation in SOTW events and contests, and the chance to connect with talented filmmakers.
Responsibilities will include reviewing short films, interviewing filmmakers, and general outreach and research. You will be expected to contribute at least one post per week. This is not a paid positionwe all run on passionbut good things can (and have) come to those who dedicate time and energy to this position.
