In honor of all the golden statues soon to be handed over to Hollywood, we will focus on honoring the many overlooked short films that have earned accolades on smaller stages.

Hey Readers, I'd like to invite everyone to take an active role in Short of the Week by telling us what you'd like to see in our redesign of the site. Your suggestions will help shape the decisions we make, so don't hold anything back.

As you may have noticed, SotW has been, well, a little less than weekly of late. This is mostly due to my shoddy management of the site while our main guru ASA is on a well-deserved vacation.
